edit: 2nd pic added. Looks dangerous
Once again wondering how this finish got greenlit. And why not a single rider has said anything before the inevitable s**tstorm that's coming.

Finish look tiny and complicated as people pointed out, I hope it stays dry in the end. Whats going on with Jakobsen..
Jakobsen, while one of the fastest sprinters at full speed, unfortunately can't get over a molehill to save his life, even when in prime shape. His move to DSM has not been without issue either. So far 1 win, but to be honest, his last year at SQS wasn't all that hot either.

True but feelt this was another low even for him in that regard. Seems more and more like Lefevre did the right thing. Accountability isnt the worst thing in the world after all.

Is it more that there aren’t 100% dedicated sprinter teams anymore like Cavendish / Kittel of old?
Riders in the break are also far less likely to blow up now than decades past. They just ride their watts and know how long they can ride that for. Back in the day they just wanted to go as fast as possible, hoping they would make it. Now they even save some energy because they know the peloton will wait a bit before going full gas.

Used to be absolute real low tier riders sometimes solo or duos this early in GTs
