I think he will get to go for it in the next one.Just rolling gently across the line, so it's more a case of saving himself for more donkey-ing. A shame, as it would have been interesting to see what he could have done now that he has shown a tiny glimpse of form in recent weeks.
Passed 2 already.Ganna gonna benefit from drafting and getting to overtake many riders here.
This ITT would not nearly be hard enough for ContadorIf one guy knows how to win a moderately hilly time trial as a climber…
Depends on the year. This ITT would not nearly be hard enough for Contador
44 seconds or more faster than any other of current leaders (Top 5) at the finish for a climb. Bodes well for upcoming smaller/lighter guys.Crushed it.
Thats to his advantage against the guys going later, a few seconds here and there, as they probably wont have the same amount of opportunities to overtake other riders.Passed 2 already.
Yes, but ideally it's much more up and down throughout.Depends on the year.
Bjerg will already be a good test for Milesi's time on the climb.44 seconds or more faster than any other of current leaders (Top 5) at the finish for a climb. Bodes well for upcoming smaller/lighter guys.
Yep. I think Clement Davy is the 2nd-best on the climb for now and he lost 38 secs.Bjerg will already be a good test for Milesi's time on the climb.

Depends on how the different direction affects CdA.Ganna 24s up at the first intermediate, and I have no idea what to think of it.
Would crosswind be good for the heavier guys?
Might be, because heavier means more force required to move them. Better than headwind, that one favours the aero midgets more.Ganna 24s up at the first intermediate, and I have no idea what to think of it.

Cross wind should hit the bike disproportionately more, which size shouldn't scale with weightDepends on how the different direction affects CdA.
By all likelihood that was the last man caught by Ganna though. Kepplinger at 4 minutes is doing a solid TT and Mayrhofer at 5 mins might be a bit too far on the road.Astana sports director Italian by any chance?
