Just rolling gently across the line, so it's more a case of saving himself for more donkey-ing. A shame, as it would have been interesting to see what he could have done now that he has shown a tiny glimpse of form in recent weeks.
I think he will get to go for it in the next one.

Ganna 24s up at the first intermediate, and I have no idea what to think of it.

Would crosswind be good for the heavier guys?

Might be, because heavier means more force required to move them. Better than headwind, that one favours the aero midgets more.

Wind will be a few kph slower in 2 hours, should offset the gains of Ganna getting to pass several riders.

Avg speed of the winner will be in the 46kph range, normally Pogacar territory but how many seconds will he need to make up on the climb?
