The break had no chance on this stage. The biggest chance for a non-sprint win is a late attack. Every team has a sprinter or someone who can make a successful attack towards the end of the stage.

I was a bit amused about all the "long stage" talk on Eurosport as well, although this in 215k only, and with the first 50k of it entirely downhill. Should honestly not be a problem for anyone.
