Moreno has a decent finish but I have my doubts that he outsprinted all of that 14 rider group.

I'm guessing that Moreno got away before the sprint proper. If he didn't, then he has a better kick than anyone gives him credit for.

Wondering how the fellas at BMC messed that one up. Odd.

It was practice for next year - except Phil missed the break and Cadel and Thor did not ride.

Anyways Sunday looks good.

I Guess :)

Apparently Moreno got away in the final kilometer(s).
Van Avermaet won the sprint for second place.

Nice work by BMC, they have suddenly picked it up this autumn. They were doing terribly at the vuelta period. GVA has somewhat of a chance in Lombardy.

Nice to see Steensen do so well after all the injuries. Sadly it may come to late for him to earn a pro tour contract for 2012.

Greg showing some great late season form. Hopefully he can do something in Lombardia but the climbs may be a little too long for him. How the climbs in Lombardia compare with the ones in San Sebastien?

I don't know but sebastian is more a barredo kind of thing and Lombardia is more a Cunego/Gilbert kind og thing. So in theory Lombardia is the race that suits him better, if you have to pick one of the two races, he's not exactly built for them
