It looks like a preview of the rivalry we expect in the coming seasons.Great performance by Roglic and the whole Jumbo-Visma team. They were everywhere today.
Not at all. Great ending! The only underwhelming thing was how weak Nibali looked. I don't think Trek is going to enjoy the best (or near his best) Nibali.Underwhelming ending for this race. Expected a bit more suspense for the last ascent.
Give him another week--form still on the upswing.Nibs
FWIW he's approaching 3000 CQ points. He could top Sagan's 2016 result with a win in Lombardia.Roglic easily best rider of the year.
What the ***, Roglic is just on another level this season. What a great race. Lets see if he can hold onto that form until next week, I expect a much better performance from Nibz and Egan there.
Roglič after the finish of#GirodellEmilia:
"Actually, I didn't feel really good..."
Bernal made the top 10.What the ***, Roglic is just on another level this season. What a great race. Lets see if he can hold onto that form until next week, I expect a much better performance from Nibz and Egan there.
Roglic 5.39 according to AmmattiI think his time was 5min 44s, same as Nibali back in 2017? Or am I mistaken.
This race would be a lot better for Valverde if the 4 San Luca climbs were 20km apart.I suppose Valverde is still a bit wet and cold from the British Autumn. Thought this was tailor made for him. Great win for Roglic, gonna be fun next year in the GT's up against the INEOS chaps.
Did Roglic do much work before the final climb though?5.39 on San Luca is pretty unreal after that hard race. Amazing climbing performing
Roglic 5.39 according to Ammatti
I'm not surprised Roglic can go faster than Nibs on that climb though.
