It's no lie, but it's a completely useless figure. I doubt he ever topped 6 w/kg in an actual race.

He could do 8,3 watt per kg in an hour so imagine that in an itt or better a mountain itt in his case. it's not a useless figure it's not a "says it all" figure either. but definetely an indication of his power and potential

he wis riding next month his first race in italy, settimana coppi bartali, then some one day races I think, trentino and giro. he is training in venezuela but flew back here for team presentation last week or 2 weeks ago.

Ryo, did you know that above 8 w/kg is humanly impossible? You could be referring to corrected values to 70 kg. Then, maybe, could be possible.

For true values of watts per kilogram, above 6.4 watts/kg in 1 hr is already suspicious. Values above 8 watts/kg can be done for short intervals, but that, in any way, can not be extrapolated to 1 hr.

He was pretty good on the Pampeago stage when Sella first exploded. Ultimately did some work for Rodríguez.

And that's fair enough. Even Rujano says that Rodríguez is a better climber than him. I think that applies mostly to the really steep stuff, that's where Rodríguez excels.

rodriguez is increidble on the steepest climbs but isn't made for high mountains or long climbs. rujano is better there but in pure steep climbing it is joaquim rodriguez perhaps even rivaling contador.

in the individual time trials mostly.he is a strong mothertrucker.plus he has an alien head.plus someone have to beat cancellara's asz next season.he's already going very well,a proteam will sign him this year,i'm sure.
