This was very nice to read.

But can you tell me more about this bit? I like to read about cyclists being sports heroes.

he was greeted by thousands of people on national airport and was brough to president hugo chavez himself to talk about it. was incredible thing

lujano_vuelta_al_tachira.jpg

and in colombia:
Jos%C3%A9-Rujano-celebra-su-titulo-en-Colombia-con-la-gente-de-Bogot%C3%A1.expand.jpg

both colombia and venezuela went insane over this win. because rujano won the vuelta colombia in a way that hadn't been seen since the great one cochize rodriguez. he ruled every mountainstage without a team! he had only 2 helpers in final week and both couldn't climb. rujano would lead peloton from the first climb till the last. he won almost every mountainstage as well!

watch this videom gives a great impression

It's clearly made up. Rujano has never won Tour of California.
LOL.

Be careful some people in this forum might actually believe what you said.

Isn't the Tour of California the fourth GT??

you're right-in this world cannot be done;)
not even Pantani in the highest of his powers was able to put near 8.0 watts-Looks like you really like the guy but there is no need to exaggerate the facts. Rugano's big problem is himself: lapses of concentration during the races & consistency nearly killed his career in Europe & he needs to get those problems solved if he wants to bring back what he left off back in 05

it's no lie. they recorded it when he went to quickstep and did some re-tests as they also couldn't believe it. his total wattage was 398, which isn't too high but looking per kg weight is incredible.

Well, everyone that's a regular will at least get the irony but people who don't know that the Tour of California is a running joke here may very well not get it. Though that's part of the fun of using irony in a text format.

Peter the Great - again in Sardinia.
He crushed the little prince and again taught them all how to ride a bike.

Looking forward to see todays finishing-move.

It's no lie, but it's a completely useless figure. I doubt he ever topped 6 w/kg in an actual race.

hmmm... I think he meant SOUTH america (ToColumbia)

The other posts were jokes, ironic and hence the beliefs of posters on the TOC vs Colombia are unknown. But your post suggests you think that the TOC might actually be the biggest race in the Americas.

It is not. Vuelta Colombia is bigger badder better.
