Nibali should pull back 1-2 minutes on the Crostis descent if he is dropped going up but will just lose it all again going up Zoncolan. He is a much better descender than the other GC men but my gut feelings may be coming true tomorrow.

Haha Nibali is a better descender than that. Either way it really doesn't matter because if AC pushes then Nibali will end up 5 minutes or more behind at the top of Zoncolan.

To me this sounds like he was merely trying, and if he would, he could easily gap Rujano.

arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh! my legs exploded 1.5km into the crostis descent, which forced me to abandon reading. i hope to recover overnight, then resume first thing in the morning.

with luck, i won't have to wait long for assistance from a neutral reader on the ascent of zoncolan.

whew! that there is suuuuummmmm kinda' writin', hitch. i will be sure to have extra water bottles and energy drinks stacked beside me *before* i start watching saturday morning.
