Now that Sivtsov is back behind Nibali on GC on the road Leakys will probably try and keep the break at 5-6 minutes?

Rabo and Geox could help.Frosty said:Maybe. Could see other teams come to the front as he is affecting quite a few in the top 10. Or rather than a whole team come to the front you could see one man from a few teams just trying to keep the pace up.

I THOUGHT I heard MASCIARELLI, but not sure of that.

Moondance said:Sella-Scarponi... What's the difference? They're both Italian (former) dopers.

apparently door opening is theme today: Contador's mechanic was kicked out of the Giro for doing that to a fanSpare Tyre said:Yeah, Masciarelli. IIRC someone opened a car door on him near the bus after a stage a few days ago. The story is on the front page of CN.

Dekker_Tifosi said:Indeed, as Frosty points out, Kruijswijk would have never been allowed in the break by Kreuziger/Astana...
It's sad because he'll probably can forget about top 12 now. Unless Rabobank starts to work, because none of his teammates made the break as well
The Hitch said:He said Sella won and had his victories taken away from him
Scarponi never had his Aprica win taken away from him.
Then again, im not sure if Sella had his taken away either.
He can pass some notoriously bad ITT-ers in front. But it's these breakaway stages that are the hardest, because there's bound to be someone from the top 20 in that break gaining time.Frosty said:What do you reckon to his tt'ing? Finished high up in the Romandie TT (although i think the wind affected the later starters?) and finished 22nd in the final TT last year. Could maybe pick off Arroyo if he can get some 20 seconds back in the penultimate stage?

Dedelou said:eurosport coverage is blabbering about yesterday's TT saying Contador did not look like he was turning his pedals fast.. Funny. To me it looked like he was overspinning which is a rare sight in a TT where people often push the biggest grear they can move without loosing speed up the hill. So which was it..
