How pathetic it would it be if Contador's Giro victory is given to Scarponi...
Menchov has "won" two podiums that way. Given that CAS has agreed to postpone the hearing until after the TdF starts, it suggests to me that Scarponi will not "win" this Giro that way.

So after tomorrow it will be...

AC
Nibali
Scarponi
Gadret
Menchov
Kreuziger
Rujano
Rodriguez
Sivtsov
Nieve

That's exactly my guessing. :)

EDIT: Well, except because I don't think Nibali can get 2nd in GC.

Nice Kiri!
Nibali faked on Finestre putting his teammates in the front and in the end was lucky to just lose some secs.
Well after this very tough Giro I suppose not many had much left in the tank, ofc apart AC! :D
Umh let's see 56 seconds, should be enough for Michele to keep second place, maybe close, don't know for sure.

If Gadret is losing more than 3 minutes in 26km to Kreuziger and Menchov, then there is no way Rodriguez is going to stay ahead of Rujano.

This was wrong, if I am correct, especially seeing as the GC included people that had not yet crossed the finishline, at least the entire GC they showed

Would really be awful if Scarponi inherits this race.

Can they 'sanction' AC or find guilty or whatever the eff, and still allow to keep the win? Sorry. Any more questions prolly belong elsewhere.

sorry for offtopic here, but I dont understand why I never lose Gazzetta.tv live feed, but Europsort is so unreliable.

I can see I'm going to have to learn some Italiano and then after that some Spanish for starters.

anyone know any free online classes, etc? Really would appreciate any input.

rodriguez has minute on rujano,i think it should be enough

the question is how much time will gadret loose, because its city TT,technical course,it should suit him,we ll see, actually i d like to see gadret 4th overall :)

If experience is anything to go by, there's no such thing as "enough time" for Rodriguez in a TT.

Just use the italian feed, put it on mute and listen to the audio of the eurosport feed off their audio player. There is a little bit of a delay, but atleast you can understand it. I have been doing this lately.

mute the Italian audio and play the English eurosport audio feed link is on steephill, it's out of sync by like 10s

Kiryienka's interview was good. Right tone. Talked about the ride, talked about Tondó, real mixture of pride and pain, close to tears.

How good, bad or indifferent is Nieve at TTs?

He's got 33 seconds over Sivtsov to hold on to his top 10 placing.

Is he likely to do this? I'm guessing it will be close but thinking that Sivtsov might edge him.

thanks for that tip. that will get me by. I still really would like to learn some Italian & more Spanish too tho

http://translate.google.com

It's far from perfect, paste a whole paragraph in there and proceed to lose your mind, but it works for a sentence or 2.

When the chat messages are going by on the video feed (to the right) I try to keep up a little. Nice to see what Italians are saying about their own race.

Google translate is also good for other mission critical uses, such as flirting with foreign women online.

Watch Gazzetta.tv along with a live (your native language) ticker. It is surprising how understanding the context will enable you to pick up a language.

Of course, this is best backed up by spending a month (at least) in that country without the benefit of a translator.

Difficult? Yes! but the tangible side benefits are incaculable.
