is this a jumbo bluff? in the armstrong face pull vibes.

make them pull with 2 riders thinking they are doing damage. its alp d'huez 2001 all over again
I've looked back and I just don't think it is.... he dropped twice, the first one with 127.7km to go and then just before ineos went to the front. I'd be worried. Almeida the biggest threat to thomas now, if he wasn't already.

Kuss could be favourite for the stage if they were to let him go, climbing on the level of the GC favourites without anyone needing to follow him.

Not much was thought of it at the time but in hindsight it's a more significant moment now watching Gee puncturing in Arenberg, might've got himself a really good position given his strength.

Looking forward to the Vuelta. Evenepole vs Roglic both trying to save their season.
Will be two very different situations going into the race If it happens.
Evenepoel is young and won a GT last season. He has time. He also won a monument this year, so Even If he fails the Vuelta he still has a big win.
Roglic is getting older and it would be 2 years since he won a GT. If he doesn’t win the Giro it’s been 3 straight GTs for him without success.

Remco will be fighting to make his season better and to gain experience, Roglic will be fighting for to keep his position as GT.

I think the pressure should be bigger for Primosz in such a case.

Evenepoel is one of the biggest names in cycling, rides and behaves like he is the patron of the peloton. He has a huge following and media circus surrending him. He is the biggest star (only star?) on his team. He has to perform and win the big races. His time is now, not later.

Roglic could retire tomorrow as a legend after having a great career.

The pressure is definitely on the former.

Interesting developments with 2 G's leading the way in the main groups, in beautiful weather with no crashes. On a day where I made my debut in the starting eleven for Petulant Whiners United (hoping to form a devastating partnership up front with Valv.Piti), I have mixed feelings.

Tbf though, Roglic can at least say to himself if he can avoid crashes, he's got a really good chance. He'd have won the Vuelta last year imo without it as he was looking very strong and gaining time on Remco in the mountains.

Ineos stopped chasing. Break will make it. Or someone else needs to start chasing, DSM or Bora to protect their placement for example, but i doubt they will.

Zana ftw
