Just keep calm and patient Matthews, next year you'll have full leadership of whatever race you want.

Which team is he going to ?

He's staying at Greenedge, but seeing as he's Australia's best upcoming rider and Gerrans will surely start to fade as he gets older they'll ride for him. They don't have a dedicated GC team so he should get leadership in whatever race he wants. Next year he'll probably be better than Gerrans anyway.

Contador will for sure attack today.

Doesn't like he suffers at all but pace is not hard enough for him to win.

Needs to make it harder.

Aru mustn't be good otherwise it really makes no sense for astana to not do anything.

He was testing aru for sure and aru couldn't close the gap at the end.

Contador still has kreuziger, besides astana doesn't even use their man advantage and what's the point if your leaders seems to suffer.

Contador doesn't care about the Astana riders. He cares about Aru who's clearly not very strong. That said, it wasn't a very smart move.

Cataldo and/or Landa should attack now. They need to take advantage of the fact that he only really has Kreuziger.

Wouldn't be surprised if contador attacks on the next hill, not sure if that's smart unless he gets porte or uran with him.

Aru really not looking good.
