I think if we get any more than 10km of action among the GC boys, we are very lucky.

But this stage in this part of the Giro is ideally placed. I hope for a strong break, with riders such as Niemiec, Ruben Fernandez, Hesjedal and Cunego, Izagirre.

Something to make the domestiques of Astana and Tinkoff have to work again. I want these boys very tired in Week 3, so we can have chaos and carnage in the Dolomites.

They are not going to allow a breakaway with Hesjedal, and less with Cunego... or even niemec, Cunego is well placed and Hesjedal is not so far... today is a day to put more time to them, other way, they could become dangerous at the end of the Giro.

Cunego said yesterday he is aiming a stage, but I think he is not going to lose time to look for that...

Tomorrow, i feel that the Hesjedal show and Canondale Garmin will begin... He said after the stage that he was feeling really good and he was at the back of the peloton when Astana increased up the speed at the front. I believe he has the legs to reach the podium at the end of this Giro if he attacks.

Why is he riding at the back of the peloton if he is feeling really good? -.-

He was forced to do a lot of work alone yesterday to minimise the time loss. I hope he doesn't pay for this today.

I'm sceptical about his form despite being his fan.

The doubt is if the breakaway will take more than 5 minutes before the first climb, otherway there will be counter attacks if the pace is not very high

Indeed. Tune in when they have hit the final climb is more then enough. We can't get spoiled everyday.

Let's see if they let the break take the win. I wouldnt be surprised if Porte had set his mind on winning this stage.
