Congratulations to Nibali, but WTF is mafioso Vino still doing in cycling? What a disgrace... And no, I'm not referring to all the clinic stuff he undoubtedly did, I'm talking about buying races and all that crap.

I wish I felt this good after going to the doctor.

Take it to the clinic
It is even more ironic that this user is a Froome fan

I am?
Nothing wrong with being a fan but if you are saying that your rider is a saint while talking that the others they are very suspicious is pretty hypocritical me thinks.
And if you are not a fan,my biggest apologies :)

There will be other opportunities for SK and Chaves. Nibali was just stronger in the third week and SK had some misfortune. Gutsy ride by SK today who must be very sore.

Man, under normal circumstances Kruijswijk would have finalized his Giro win right now.

But instead we get cheater no.1 Vinokourov celebrating his brat's success.
There were normal circumstances. It's about a bike, a road and a bike rider. If the bike rider cannot stay on the road because of his own fault, it is normal circumstances.

I would add... Nibali is so damn lucky, if Chavez hadn't cracked, he wouldn't have won.

The giro is a 3 weeks race. Nibali simply the most experienced and 3 weeks racer out there. Today for example he won by 15 sec on Uran , hardly an incredible physical feat. yesterday benefited of a couple of crash... he is basically a 3 weeks rider, who over 3 weeks has better stamina and all roundness than many other riders. He is not the best uphill, he is not the best on a step mur, he is not the best on a one day etc. he is made for 3 weeks racing

Great ride once again by Nibali! You make your own luck. Of course i would have liked Kruijswijk to win but you can do nothing but applaud the lion's heart of Nibali to turn an unwinnable situation around like this.

Amazing race, drama till the end, for a neutral this would show what cycling is like at it's best, so many giving so much, there can only be one winner but so many deserve congraluations! Emoitionally draining through if you do support a rider involved! :p

Good fight at the end. Too bad Kruijswijk was not able to save his podium. He deserved it.

But Bala rode well today. And you could see Chavito crack at some point. He went from 'worse to worse'.

There are a lot of asterisks needed here (Landa, Dumoulin, Chaves, Kruijswijk etc.). But in the end Nibali was there to take the win, which is all that matters.

Chavito and Steve K. will have their chances, their day will come. But it is the experience and heart of a Champion that takes the prize today :).
Its that his form was better then in rest of Giro, that is what won it to him, not heart or experience (and Kruijswijk fall). Or was he inexperienced and had no heart of champion for more than two weeks?

If SK didnt crash this would have been his Giro. Nibali wouldn't be able to take that much time. Great show by Nibali though to comeback. Probably the biggest deficit overturned other than 2006 Landis

It is so nice to read all the Nibali hate posts here while Lo Squalo takes the maglia Rosa to the last stage.

Watching the parents of Chavez congradulate Nibali on his win just shows you were the kid gets his Grace from. Nibali caused the race to be a sweat fest nail biter. He rode his heart out and deserves victory

This is such am illogical train of thought which could be applied to * any winner of any race, league, season of any sport. The only 'luck' could be SK unlucky crash but that was of his own making and Nibali still had so much to do before he could wear pink.
