That was frustrating
Seriously, that was one of the greatest stages of modern cycling?!
VMT. Not sure why you watch cycling if you can't enjoy that stage, regardless of which riders are your favourites. That was incredible entertainment for three hours.

I feel like it was more of an insult to my intelligence, but whatever.

It makes this whole race seem staged.

Dumoulin is around 40 seconds behind Froome. It's over.

Must be kicking himself for not trying to bridge alone in the Finestre descent...
Yep, letting that gap go out to two minutes on a descent was a terrible error of judgement.

One may dislike Froome but credit should be given where it's due - this was Contador-style attack with actual performance to back it up.
Great racing.

Amazing stage. The greatest performance I've ever witnessed in this sport (and in any sport for that matter). Major chapeau to Froome, what a champion.

Perhaps, but Dumoulin looked spent and did let Reichenbach do a lot of work on the flat. If he hadn't been the time might've just been lost elsewhere.

How is it still entertaining when you realize one man is 20 leagues above the rest? Just killed all the excitement.

Don't think it would have mattered. No guarantee he would have caught him and would have wasted a lot of energy that he obviously needed. Bigger issue was Reichenbach and Pinot were not big help and Lopez and Carapaz were none.
