Dumoulin still looks like a panic-free machine. If the others can hang on to the top then he can likely manage this gap.

Dumoulin does look tranquilo as always (except when he has to take a crap unexpectedly), but there are two more significant climbs to come.
If I was his DS, I would be starting to worry about the gap just about now.

Froome is just doing what Froome has always done

Be the strongest rider, have the strongest team out of nowhere.

C'mom, Flo...
You have to appreciate this kind of effort. Not even Andy Schleck has pulled such a move. Only Merckx.
Landis too
Appreciate what?

Froome basically decides to be the best climber of the race on Finestre & Zoncolan all of a sudden, after months out of shape. Completely plausible... NOT!

Disgusting freak!

Dont remember you saying the same bout Nibali

I was hoping for a Galibier 2011 but this is even better, total carnage ! Froome can't possibly hope to ride 80ks alone ?

Someone has said he is aiming for the Cima Coppi. Seems like a massive push just for that?

Thank god MS chased down the early break. With teammates in front this wouldn't be half as epic.

Dumo is so lucky Yates had pink going into today, or right now there would have been two or three Sky guys up the road for Froome to bridge to

Maybe h‘d have invested more to stay with Froome in this case, but it‘s still 75k and Dumoulin has a 3min advantadge. No reason to panic.

One, Sestriere is better for Tom than Froome on paper. Although, Froome looks extradorinary so I have no idea.

Yeah... I hope he fades and the others will come back and reel him in

Won't happen. Froome's just riding off into the sunset. And will repeat it in the next TDF.

I told U

Poels set to pull an Angliru
Poels is only really good on steep climbs, but he isn't good enough to just take a minute on Dumoulin and Froome in 4km.

I was puzzled as to why Poels dropped backing leaving Froome with only Elissonde in the first place.
