Not sure if waiting for teammate really pays off. TD was only 40 seconds, by the descent it balloons to 1:40... That's a lot of time to lose. Now, TD will lose his position.

yeah, you could see it on the Finestre descent as well. Dumoulin almost came to a stop and he was still struggling to get across.

Does anyone really think the Giro isn't over? Froome will be in virtual pink well before the stage is finished. I wouldn't bet on his being any worse off tomorrow for the escape than those who followed him.

He's going to be in pink with several minutes to spare. He can afford to have a small off day tomorrow.

The Sky train will be a bus parked in front of the race tomorrow if he takes pink, Froome's condition in the morning is almost irrelevant. Dumoulin needs to take a grip of this pronto and stop waving his hands at riders that are slower than him anyway.
