Dumoulin asking others to ride. He is done.
Probably wasn't a good idea to be so critical of them a few days ago. Burning bridges is never a good idea in the pro peloton.

Were Lopez and Carapaz just playing around when they dropped off slightly on Setriere, or were they on the limit too?

I think Dumoulin and Pinot are just completely empty. Remember, it was an extremely hard start to the stage, and then Finestre at full gas, and then Sestriere with little help at more or less 90%. On Stage 19. Its been an absurd day/giro

Probably spent more than Froome on the climb where Froome attacked and haven't been able to recover.

dumo just needs to ride now, i figure he is saving himself for the final climb a bit but he cant afford to leak time at the rate he is when FDJ take the front.

Will have to turn down the sound. He's unbearable even when Froome is not doing well

This. Froome is the only elite GT rider here - the others are all second tier. If Froome has somehow found top form, then there is nothing the others can do. They just aren't as strong. Even Quintana or Nibali at top form would be struggling here.

Funny that last year the guys who were fighting for white jersey saved Dumo's Giro and now they are helping him loose it.

He has no choice though atm, because he gonna burn himself out doing that. He already probably gonna get dropped by the others with the pulling he has done.

So, what's the record for number of pages for a stage?
This isn't gonna get close to 2011. Those days are over.
I actually think the Stelvio stage from the 2014 giro has the record, at least someone once claimed that. Don't know if true.
I just looked at a few of the 2011 threads and holy crap, how on earth can there even be 139 pages of discussing the freakin Luz Ardiden stage

Froome is about to catch Flecha.
Eurosport chose extremely mournful music to accompany Flecha. I'm not sure if that was on purpose or anything.
