Narvaez getting far more Moto help there. They're at his side and just in front of him but behind Padun

Would've been a true exploit to finish off the job in this weather.
I think NTT did a great job.

Pozzovivo tried ..more than can be said for the others
Pozovivo will be 38 in a few weeks ...where are the other teams trying to take the pink jersey ?
Pozzovivo needs a longer steep climb to get anywhere

I would rather appreciate how hard it is to ride a stage like today in mid October for these guys

and I find it interesting to see how this will pan out in the long run

Not everything is immediate

Either Padun is using Grabsch like gearing or he has exploded there. Not surprising though, lots of work after the flat

Well, a man from the break deserved the stage win.
Too bad the mechanical played a part.

Well Padun had a mechanic when both together, so yes that is luck

There is an element of fortune in the final shake out but there's nothing lucky about Narvarez being in the finale. It's been a horrid, hard day of cycling and he was extremely good across the duration of it. For all we know it's unlucky that he didn't get to ditch Padun legitimately himself
