No but they have installed the CN forum with a bad translation filter on his stem. Should work betterAny Trek riders in the break? They are important to give Nibali mental support when he catches and rides past them within five seconds on the Stelvio
How can Italian names of climbs be so beautiful and the German ones so uglyHofmadsjoch with the break still so close to the peloton could be deadly. That climb is really hard.
Yeah he's currently "pulling" while some of his teammates stopped for a toilet break. So, Ballerini pace until Stelvio?
As it is written, so shall it come to passLouis Meintjes winning the stage 10 seconds ahead of Nibali would be a fitting queens stage result for this Giro.
Uhm, I think you just misspelled "even more beautiful".How can Italian names of climbs be so beautiful and the German ones so ugly
Big enough to have more than one Trek rider. How big is the peloton?
Big enough to have more than one Trek rider.
Two actually.
How can Italian names of climbs be so beautiful and the German ones so ugly
it's one of those gym bags. Need plenty of space for all the trophies. What shape is the bag in?
Are you bragging or is this some relatively unknown guy you know? It's gonna be insteresting to see how fast they climb the Selvio/Stilfser Joch, a guy from South Tyrol has an ascent time of 77min 8sec, which is really fast at that kind of altitude.
I mean, the names around Bozen/Bolzano and some border regions are actually real Italian names (you can already find them on older maps from the napoleonic era) and weren't just invented by Ettore Tolomei.Irredentism first and fascism following lol
Some italian names in Südtirol are laughable, some others are a good attempt at italianizing those names. Sometimes it's an italian name trying to sound like the german counterpart, sometimes italians took the ancient latin name and rehabilitated the name like in Vibidina (latin)---> Sterzing (deu)----->Vipiteno (ita).
Some names in the region are a fascinating mixture of cultures like "Prad am Stilfserjoch".
Brother Tony, I think. One is Vincenzo, who's the other hero?
