I think your memory failed you a bit, there ;)

Factchcek here

1-2 is even :D 1x TDF 1xQuebec and 2x TDS for Matthews. 1x WCRR (this was not a sprint though Sagan went solo). 1x TDF, 1x Pologne, 1X California for Sagan. Sagan has 18 additional wins when Matthews was top 10 though.

Only one time Québec (Sagan wasn't at the start in 2018) but he also has a Vuelta stage from 2014 where Sagan didn't go top 100.

Edit: Okay, I'm a bit confused what you're talking about now. But apparently, Matthews has won five races where Sagan was also present. Four of those times, Sagan was 2nd, the last time he was 129th.

ES 2 will be broadcasting Liege and Giro at the same time apparently. At least czech version. I am curious how they can handle this.

Shouldn't be an issue unless they both are due to finish at roughly the same time. Only the last ten minutes or so of the Giro stage are likely to be interesting. They should mainly broadcast the monument.

2x Quebec was a typo. I edited it. Bling won definitely more than one with Sagan in the mix but Sagan won more than twenty with Bling in the mix. It was easy for SKSemtex that memory lied to him :D

Of course. I would also like to forget those times.

I am warming a bit to Matthews, though. And I think he has a much better chance than Sagan today.

I think that too. I have strong bad feeling that Sagan will try and will be dropped somewhere at that climb.

Is it just my Eurosport broadcast or is the Giro picture quality really shitty compared to other races like the Tour or the belgian classics?
No its the same on RAI TV the colours are really dimmed.
Yesterday I thought it might be the dust in the warm sirocco wind
but today ...

Any Giro stage, or Canadian, Czech, whatever race that makes Ulissi favorite is a cheap, short, borderline meaningless entertainment that makes him a half trick pony, it can be exhilarating until three minutes after the finish then we can move on quickly. Only Stephen Cummings' late ambushes gets from wow to meh more quickly. I have nothing against them, it's just those kinds of stages...

I remember that one because that stage was hard to forget. SAGAN was doing the elimination race and if he won that stage Orica would have been very humiliated.
actually I like Blink, he is half Slovak. ;)

Ironic that the new EF kit is less easy to pick out in the bunch than the standard kit

Ineos let the gap slide out to over 5 mins, forcing Sunweb and UAE to help the chase if they want to contest the stage
