He's gonna have 40 points, same as Caicedo...
PCS says 41pts
He's gonna have 40 points, same as Caicedo...
If he ever becomes a GT rider look out for Vegni designing 200 km ITT stages.is ganna the favourite now for the tour 2021?
Yeah, I missed the 1 point he got earlier todayPCS says 41pts
Valverde wasn't there to gift it to him. He's gonna deny it but that was clearly an attempt to sprint by Nibali.
Or the next Froome.Ganna the next Cancellara?
Tell me when Cancellara won a GT mountain stage?
Martin was also a noted duracell bunny, notoriously worse at shorter TTs etc, while Ganna is the reigning pursuit WC and WR holder. To be honest, I don't find Ganna winning a stage like this that unbelievable. Tony Martin once won a really tough Vosges stage in the Tour, that's kinda comparable. What I do find pretty incredible is that he won it after being caught by De Gendt, dropping De Gendt again and riding the final 5 k of a 1st category climb faster than the peloton that wasn't going fullgas, but not exactly slowly either.
High risk low reward situationThat was a gritty ride by Ganna. These ITT guys can really lay it down.
Is it just my impression or was the GC battle kind of not a battle? Maybe it was the weather? I really thought someone would try to gain separation on the climb. Or maybe just not steep enough.
Nibali descending is one of the nicest thing to watch in cyclingNibali stressing everybody.
I honestly wouldn't mind 70K+ ITTs.If he ever becomes a GT rider look out for Vegni designing 200 km ITT stages.
His position on the bike reminds me of Canc—pleasure to watch.Ganna the next Cancellara?
Just ask RemcoNibali descending is one of the nicest thing to watch in cycling
True, but while Martin does seem to perform worse in short TT's that doesn't automatically mean long distances have to be a problem for Ganna.Martin was also a noted duracell bunny, notoriously worse at shorter TTs etc, while Ganna is the reigning pursuit WC and WR holder.
