Still way over 8 minutes for the break and Bora/Sunweb/UAE refuse to help chasing.

Still 100k to go tho'.

They'd likely still need 8 min+ at 60k I think given the strength.

Hard to see the bunch screwing it up, too many teams think they can win this

Gonna be cool to watch the change of trees' colouration during the race.
GT of fallen leaves.

Funny you should mention this. I have a fantasy team on Feltet.dk with that exact name in Danish and I'm currently in the lead. That's a very tense situation to find oneself in, I have to say!

I don't speak Danish.

An old blind cowboy wanders into an all-girl biker bar by mistake…
He finds his way to a bar stool and orders a shot of Jack Daniels.
After sitting there for a while, he yells to the bartender, ‘Hey, you wanna hear a blonde joke?’
The bar immediately falls absolutely silent.
In a very deep, husky voice, the woman next to him says:
‘Before you tell that joke, Cowboy, I think it is only fair, given that you are blind, that you should know five things:
- The bartender is a blonde girl with a baseball bat.
- The bouncer is a blonde girl with a ‘Billy-Club’.
- I’m a 6-foot tall, 175-pound blonde woman with a black belt in karate.
- The woman sitting next to me is blonde and a professional weight lifter.
- The lady to your right is blonde and a professional wrestler.
‘Now, think about it seriously, Cowboy… Do you still wanna tell that blonde joke?’

The blind cowboy thinks for a second, shakes his head and mutters,
‘No…sorry, not if I’m gonna have to explain it five times.’

Whelan sounds like the Danish word vildand (if pronounced with an accent), which means wild duck. The most deserving member of the EF squad.

I think the break will fall apart on the Millotta and someone will attempt to solo home. Who's the best climber amongst the 4?

That's a funny statistics about the Aussie contingent in the Giro.

And why would exactly the Aussies cycle so much?
Can't get to Europe by bike.

Feels like the entire peleton is working against Sagan. Are the remaining sprinters (Matthews, Demare) or a puncheur like Ulissi not interested in a stage win? Why is it always Bora that has to chase down the break.

Maybe this chase means there's gonna be some classic-style racing.
Every day so far there's been some excitement regardless of the profile.

They all refused to work, then Bora flinched. UAE and FDJ know that Sagan is desperate so they can call his team’s bluff. Hopefully Bora can really smash it up the cat 3 and put Démare in trouble.

This is unlikely but if they catch the break before Millotta, we could see some attacks on the climb. Would make the race much more chaotic with only one or two Bora riders left to chase.

5 minutes knocked off the gap by just 2 riders in 30 km. Funny what the sprint teams can do when they have to
