Interested to see how Evenepoel goes in the last climb, is it physically a bad performance or just the nerves of sterrato?
It was always the legs. He's not great on the gravel but that skill or lack thereof is overrated. I've raced on the gravel a ton this year. If you're strong, you're strong on the gravel too. Sure, there are some that are a bit less comfortable but if you've got the legs it's not usually the cause of huge time losses.
