Breaks going to be limited to 8 mins max, but jokes on the bunch Vinocenzo is going to put another 7 mins into everyone up and down Giau

Will it have to be a 7' advantage for the break before another team takes over and reduces the gap?

Webcams around Val Gardena (other side of Pordoi) showing snow down to 1300 m or so…

Who should? Bahrain is too decimated. Bike Exchange is too weak. Trek has Nibali up front. So does Quick Step with Almeida.

Astana actually wants the gap to balloon and Bernal to hesitate, so Vlasov can go all-in Russian roulette on Giau, with Izaguirre being his relay-station for the descent!

I think Ineos will leave it to 7 minutes before riding, however Bike Ex and EF might get twitchy before then.
I think they'd be fools to, there's a few hard stages still to come and Nibali/Almeida/Formolo are really not so good that a minute or two can't be regained on those stages.

EF have a pretty bad team atm, Carr is really bad during this Giro and with no Ruben here Bettiol might be the best climbing domestique that he has left.

We now pan to a shot of Caleb Ewan and his lotto teammates dancing on a Brazillian beach somewhere laughing their heads off.
Well..

Seems like "knee pain" wasn't the only struggle in Lotto

I just want to return to the mid 00's where riders didnt give a *** and went faster than motorbikes, where race organizers had integrity and there were no stupid rider representatives, where podium girls were celebrated and where cycling didnt have these stupid new wave fans that dont know *** about the history of our sport and side with these shitty organisations every time they call for cancellings and shortenings.

We need Trump to make our sport great again.

Almeida might be a problem because of the TT.
