I really prefer Giau-Falzarego-Fedaia. If they give me that combo I don't care very much what comes before
It comes down if you prefer the harder side of the Giau before the easier Falzarego and more false flat or the harder side of Valparola instead of the Falzarego (5kms at 8.4% befre the easier final km) before the easier side of the Giau and very little flat between the final 3 climbs.
I mean the Giau from Pocol is still a hard climb, we haven't seen (pun intended) that side already last year and the following descent is pure bikeporn.

It's a fine stage that way, but I don't think Giau this way is a super enticing launching pad and especially starting the climb in Pocol it's clearly easier than Fedaia which comes relatively quickly after it.

I think if you take Giau from Caprile and go over Santa Lucia like this year it works really well to hammer Santa Lucia with domestiques cause you can't really afford to start pacing yourself already there and then Giau is a full 33 minutes in the hurtbox.

No question the presented sprint stages are for the sprinters.
The one to Cuneo looks intriguing. Partially 'cause of the field that's still gonna be in contention and more 'cause of its aftermath.

Wonder if some opportunity for the sprinters will pop up from the hilly set.
