not entirely true, stage 5 finishes in Messina, not Taormina.
That's a bit of a surprise, but I guess Taormina doesn't really need the Giro.not entirely true, stage 5 finishes in Messina, not Taormina.
Are flat roads around Messina a differernt kind of flat than those around Taormina?not entirely true, stage 5 finishes in Messina, not Taormina.
Taormina is located on a hill, Messina isn't.Are flat roads around Messina a differernt kind of flat than those around Taormina?
Yes, Taormina is a lot more hilly. In hindsight I should have paid more attention to the stage being classified as flat. Are flat roads around Messina a differernt kind of flat than those around Taormina?
With only 6 stages classified as flat I don't see it as a big deal. I'll keep my complaints for the hilly stages.Yes, Taormina is a lot more hilly. In hindsight I should have paid more attention to the stage being classified as flat.
Vegni redemption arc incoming?
The stage to Reggio (201 km) is said to be the longest of the Giro lol
If this is true. Vegni...
And it's just another way of revealing the overall short amount of ITT.
You expected ITT's longer than 201 kms?
What's Italian for "lmao not happening"I don't think it is true but if it is real this stage would be a human cruelty. I understand Gigs when he says that Fedaia as a MTF is not good, and I agree, but the preceding mountains are so hard and the length of the stage long enough that I cannot see anything less than riders coming in ones and twos.

Personally I don't think it will happen.
Just RCS doing RCS stuff, they really don't know how to do basic marketing. So, I wanted to check the route of the Giro out, but turns out they have only revealed the sprint stages and the grand depart. Lmao, wtf is this.... hope this doesnt get too popular in the future, what a shitty way to bring some 'excitement' into the presentation. Like, please.............
Would give at least one kidney to see Gatusso manage United
"Wanna see Fedaia? Come to Italy cause we'll surely not manage to get it into the broadcast"Just RCS doing RCS stuff, they really don't know how to do basic marketing.
The should take pride in the fact that the Giro usually has the hardest mountain stages and sell it as "the world's hardest race in the world's most beautiful country".
Nah, he should go back to Scotland as a manager. The idea of him being the manager of a team filled with primadonnas does sound appealing to me...Would give at least one kidney to see Gatusso manage United
A lot of it hs to do with the Helicopters not being allowed to take off when the weather is a bit bad because everyone is afraid of getting sued if something happened..."Wanna see Fedaia? Come to Italy cause we'll surely not manage to get it into the broadcast"
Or Movistar.Would give at least one kidney to see Gatusso manage United
the longest stage is gonna be 201 km long, so no, it is not gonna happen.I don't think it is true but if it is real this stage would be a human cruelty. Nevegal-Forcella Staulanza-Campolongo-Valparola-Giau-Fedaia would be over 5,500m of altitude gain and under 185kms.the longest stage is gonna be 201 km long, so no, it is not gonna happen.
I really prefer Giau-Falzarego-Fedaia. If they give me that combo I don't care very much what comes beforeNevegal-Forcella Staulanza-Campolongo-Valparola-Giau-Fedaia would be over 5,500m of altitude gain and under 185kms.
