For one Giro only I would have taken a glowing Di Luca / Santambrogio

/ Simoni For some drama

Feels like Bora are going to waste Lipowitz this race in an attempt to get a top 5 with Martinez

That was always the worry, I was hoping he might have a free hand for some stage wins.

Commentators unironically hyping up a GT being locked up on day 2 just like literally everyone expected.

Great performance from Pogačar, not super strong but still giving the circumstances would be difficult to do better.

Lipowitz is such a gem, Bora are quietly building a team to rival UAE and Visma. Martinez, Thomas and Fortunato also really good.

Tiberi a big disappointment today and O'Connor got a bit too excited and paid for it.

Instead of letting the action try and speak for itself they're trying to push this mechanical line, can we get some proper analysts please
Apart from Nico Roche they don't really have any analysts who were riders of that type though, it's all sprinters analysing climbers.

Unfortunately, Wiggins was godawful, and all the other Anglophone riders who could fulfil the role of being the voice of analysis for GC riders are either still riding, don't seem to be all that interested in the role, or are extremely tainted (most of the US riders of that generation, Ryder Hesjedal, Mick Rogers)

Again, I’ve kind of like O’Conner. I’m don’t normally follow Anglo-Aussie riders, but he’s got a lot of grit. Not smart to follow The Great One (Teddy has earned the moniker I only have used in reference to Contador before), but he’s got balls.

Sure but also dropped earlier on the steeper slopes and came back as the gradient dropped a bit
Oropa is a tricky climb... riders has had problems here in the past. Maybe why he took his tempo instead, the gap wasnt big to those ahead. Then he was one of the strongest in the end.

He can TT better than a lot of the others as well.

He also hasnt raced for a while and may be a bit undercooked.
