Conservative strategy reminds me more of Jumbo Visma 2020 Tour, if it comes off and they win people will say well done, what were we worried about, but if Roglic plays for time sitting on their train, then destroys them on the last couple of mountain stages we will say why didn't they try and fatigue him with all their GC leaders earlier on.

If UAE were going to ride as a team, sure but Ayuso would probably chase down Del Toro at this stage. Never mind Bahrain, Ineos, Lidl will also work if UAE try anything together

Imagine a situation where toro,ayuso roglic,carapaz and bernal went clear on next climb and ayuso attacks them, it will be to the benefit of toro to sit in their wheel while they are chasing ayuso in the next valley and at the final climb toro can finish the race and carapaz and bernal would not work full when toro is in their wheel which puts the most pressure on roglic. The more the numbers u have the better
