I didn't watch the beginning. Did Tiberi get caught behind the split because he wasn't well positioned or because he seems to be suffering after yesterdays crash?

That figures. Is this a new metaphor invented in this thread today, or is it in a wider that most of us have apparently never come across before.
It’s an older metaphor but adapted in this thread in a cycling context, I thought the kids would know what I was on about when I said it but foolishly forgot that there is no “the kids” around these parts.

Hard to tell but it sure doesn't bode well for Monte Grappa.

Movistar should work with the donestiques and split the group with rubio on grappa...
They yearn for G2 dynamics.

EDIT: But they are indeed pulling the chase group on the lower slopes of Grappa. Tarling has been caught again.
