great execution from Lidl. That stage design was always bad for attacks. Lidl being so strong as a team also a huge factor in this.

Pedersen dominating this Giro. This time he won a middle mountain stage, WTF? I wasn't expecting fireworks on the big climb but still I'm a bit disappointed with the finale. Those 39 km killed any action.

He is arguably a favourite on stages 4, 5, 6, 12, 14, 15, 18 and 21.

And stages 8, 9, 10 and 13 are not entirely outside the realm of possibility.

Crazy to think about a GT, where a single rider could conceivably go for the stage win on 15 stages :O
