Hey... Pretty decent from Mollema. Only a few secs behind Sastre, and ahead some of the other faves. Solid.

Millar choked.

Ah come now, Millar did OK. He's not a young man any more, and he's done a lot of hard racing already this year. He's here mainly to lead out Farrar in the sprints.

no i'm saying the teams all try to win the prologue and hold the jersey as long as possible

although it's not the tactic, it'a actually strategic to not get the jersey and have to defend it early on.

I know, I am not new to cycling. I am well aware what the convention is.

But I never got it, it is seriously flawed reasoning to me. Take it, lose next day, if you don't want to defend it. Means you are 1 up on where you would have been for the sponsor and still have a strategic approach that is sound. Just missing it means putting the same amount of effort in on the day, but without the 1 day trophy.

Plus would miss with everybody's else's mind, if they all feel so strong you ought to defend it and you would juts not do it. Means they can't "depend" on your efforts to fix their problems in future stages. Double whammy.

Brookwater to take an intermediate sprint 2morrow and be virtual pink but hendo will win sprint or be close enough for the jersey

Just saw some footage of brookwater, that guy could have won by 10sec if he wasn't putting so much energy into that swaying he was doing

20 second time bonus for the stage win, this year?
Greipel's @ 18"

yes, 20 secs for the winner. I just hope he doesn't get really sick because he had light fever at the morning.

Eurosport went to a break as Wiggins finished his time! How crap was that! They've been overwhelmed with complaints apparently.

Anyways pink will suit Wiggo very nicely. :D

eurosport have far too many ads - i didn't bother with them in the end.

good to see BMC with 2 up there - who's Bookwalter??

Wiggins won! Henderson did a decent ride also for Sky

TFF and that previous guy that slagged millar can drown their sorrows now! i dont think he choked, he normally pulls these off so just misjudged or something.

Yeah, he's within shooting distance. Henderson is at 5", though, so he only needs third. How far back is Farrar, ten seconds or so?

Good. Their excuse was as lame as anything. "We are European and not British, you need to do it somewhere".

Yeah, just before a race favourite. Makes total sense for everyone!
