Well done to Bradley Wiggins... yes I will call you by your correct "name" when congratulating you.

I'm sure you will look pretty in pink, but not so much now you've lost "the hair".

Where does it say you can't take it on day 1 and then just not bother defending it on day 2?

I never got that line of reasoning.

it's called sponsors. if you win the jersey it's best for the sponsors to hold it as long as possible... sure you could let it go, but they are paid to do a job

Then I guess you weren't listening to the same announcers last year during the Giro.

I did hear them last year and they never brought up age for any of the American riders, but they always did for riders like Garzelli and Simoni.

'Greipel' has the ****s apparently, so we might not see much of him until we get back to Italy. OR he could go on a Tour-of-Turkey-esque tear and win everything for three days.

You're saying that the sponsors prefer not to win anything over just giving it up on day 2?

Mehh... Sastre looks to keep the loss to Evans & Vino at an acceptable level. Will be less than 30 secs.

About 23 secs for Sastre...

Cervelo might be able to make that up, and a little bit more too maybe, in the TTT.

no i'm saying the teams all try to win the prologue and hold the jersey as long as possible

although it's not the tactic, it'a actually strategic to not get the jersey and have to defend it early on.

Great ride by Porte.

Speaking of the TTT, Evans won't lose much time. He won't lose more than 40 seconds.

Eurosport went to a break as Wiggins finished his time! How crap was that! They've been overwhelmed with complaints apparently.

Anyways pink will suit Wiggo very nicely. :D
