They just showed the Evans situation now. He was trying to move up to the front past a Katusha rider who was leading the peloton and probably slowing it down, and the Katusha rider accelerated and moved to the right towards Evans. Evans then threw his hand out, don't know if he was "hitting" or just gesticulating.

Anyway, no way he should get DQ'd for it.

The first guy at the front was a Katusha, who was trying to mess up the peloton's chase because Pippo was at the front. He was completely, totally in his right to do that.
