I keep thinking "how do these big names keep slipping off the front?" And then I wonder what is different now.

I'm starting to hope we have entered the new era in which genuine tiredness is shooting the stage-control that we got used to over the last decade to pot. I'm hoping and expect that this Giro will have several twists and turns in the tail, still.

If the peloton gets organised they can bring this back easy.
