Hoogerland could slow down a bit, now. Get the cima coppi, relax a bit and wait for the rest, and hope to stay away. But he seems to give it all.

May somebody explain me the Gazzetta's commercial? I mean, the girl is hot and everything, but I don't get the point.

This is more my cup of tea; a traditional Dolomite stage.
Looking forward to the graveyard of cyclists next.
The Fedaia/Marmolada: one of my favourite climbs.
Very hard, but also stunning, in parts.

35 seconds. Johnny is not going to make it to the top alone.

I guess Garzelli and Nieve are going to join him before the top

these guys have a big enough gap now to probably stay away?

There's still so many km left going up that anything can happen. It is possible though.

Four guys. Anton, Contador, Juan Mauricio Soler Hernandez and I think the other may have been Valverde but I doubt it. There were four guys, two stuck with AC when Anton went. Anton went ahead for the stage. Took 10 or 14 seconds out of AC if I remember correctly. Nobody followed Anton, they just let him go for the win.

AC also had a hunger bonk in 2009. Caisse and Saxo worked against him. I know one team leader was Franck Schleck and the other was probably Lulu. They took 2 minutes out of him. Next day AC attacked and came all but 20 or so odd seconds off getting the time back. Too bad first to third were separated by about 10 seconds. Saxo and Caisse worked against him when he took off. They didn't think he could stay away all day. They were wrong. AC admitted he goofed. Armstrong had a sly remark about AC in the press, said "He has much to learn." The bonk was normal, AC's comeback the next day was pretty epic.

Rider was Mosquera, great stage btw
