Nibali getting his rage on during the descent. He'll want to have a 30s gap because you'd expect Contador to get his rage on going up!

Uphill starts immediately after the descent, as seen by fact that Garzelli is already pacing himself up grades.

woo pretty sure I saw in Kruijswijk there.
yes and Kreuziger was dropped just before the top.

Sure, Roman will return, but if he drops again on the next climb. Kruijswijk might take the white jersey

Nieve still second behind garzelli? Might consider waiting for anton. Long wait, though. Noone else will have many domestiques left

This stage certainly looks like it could create some massive gaps and losses.

this is working out great for anton. AC has to work himself to bring nibs back, allowing anton a free ride to his teammate waiting up the road

Is it just me or does it seem that Contador is actually working on the descent while Nibali is simply gliding down, that might help Nibali a tiny bit on the climb.

Seriously, Contador doing all his own work, 45km to go, with two cat 1s to go, or an HC and a cat 1 in the other money. Ridiculous.

I wasn't so sure about Nibali's descending skills, probable because I just watched him doing nice in a descent last once during last year's Giro, so it could be just some hype. But he is really great.
