Toro very isolated, won't be a problem here but he just has to use more energy, maybe top climber Brandon Mcnulty can help?

I don't know if it won't be a problem if he's covering multiple moves already, as Blythe was reporting. Even if it's only small matches, this might hurt him later. UAE should do a better job.

I don't know if it's best for EF to have Steinhauser on the break. EF needs a strong pace in peloton.
I agree. Carapaz can handle himself in the finale, better for him to have a solid hard pace in the group and not worry so much about being attacked until it's he who is ready to launch. imho

What they need for that is a strong break that needs to be controlled by more than one team. Not so unlikely this is gonna happen, not to bad to have someone in there for the later parts of the stages. I mean you can always call him back.

I've never seen such a GT where the teams seem so unserious about their GC prospects. I see them all 'trying to get in breakaways' when they clearly just fancy going for a stage win. When Steinhauser got called back the other day he looked like someone had just told him his dog had died over the radio, at least he did it to be fair though, unlike Houle and Frigo on Grappa.

He's got 6 other guys with him, and it would stand to reason that none of the top 4 are going long range today, because they gaps on GC are so small and the risks so great.

I think it will be relatively calm until the last cat. 1

Nico Denz on the other hand acting like his dog had died after Hindley and Roglic went home before just going out and winning a stage.

Mads? Cause he would probably have a sense of humor about this incredibly cheesy song. :D

It's not just that it's cheesy, it's that they are all off key the whole song (which would be terrible even on key) and that the video looks like a school procject for 12 years old - where none of the kids can act - I LOVE it so much,- and I love even more that it actually charted in Germany at the time

Carapaz won a Giro taking advantage of his two main rivals looking at each other. But he knows Del Toro is a superb rouleur that won't be looking around for help, so it makes sense to have Steinhauser up the road.
