Waiting for Eurosport coverage to start so I can sit down with a few beers (ah the hidden benefits of unemployment).

Anyway, I like Ventoso for today

Those stage finishes can be found on the official site if you click on Garibaldi right at the bottom left hand side of the home page

or here

I've been trying to load that for the last 2 hours. How big is it? Tried it in Explorer and it went up to 16MB before it said it couldn't load and Firefox doesn't show any information.

In his defense, his leadout totally collapsed after the turn yesterday. Looked like Fischer pulled off way too early.

The Garmin train got destroyed by Hondo who passed them in a turn. The Garmin guys directly stopped their train when Farrar jumped to another wheel.

It's 29MB. Initially it took about 45 seconds to load for me

The Italian server must hate antipodean servers like they hate Manxman who sprint. Doesn't like loading at all :p

A tight rope kept on Brutt ?

Hmm it doesn't seem to be loading. It seemed like it was ok this morning but I think it was because it was kept in my Internet Explorer history from when I accessed it yesterday. Now I've cleared my IE history and it won't load for me either

And on Ricci Bitti too.
Visconti FTW. (or maybe Di Luca)

Ricci Bitti, sounds like a dog name.

I hope peloton is close enough with 40km to go as I want plenty of attacks during the last hour.

Took forever but it managed to load for me. Friends on irc in Netherlands and other side of Aus said it worked fine for them.

Saving energy. Trust me, you'll see Navarro slacking off in a couple of stages as well. Besides, there's more stages than just this one, so losing time on a stage you can't win is always good for a rider of his caliber.

Lol at you thinking Visconti 'saved energy' yesterday.
Riding I'n the peleton is the easier ride, it's not like he just eased off and lost 20 minutes.

49.3km first hour for those up front. So that makes it 44-45 for the bunch.

Break currently has 6'00.

Edit: Gap 4'55" after 61km

Big question at this stage is will they make it to the KoM, first over will be the new leader.

are they back in the race or did they quit?

was it a severe crash?

They are back in the pack; I don't know the severity. It was noted on the GazzettaTV live ticker. Rai didn't or hasn't noted it yet in their video coverage.

EDIT: GazzettaTV is live now as well. Easily the best quality stream (Video-wise) out there.
