i really dont get it.

You would understand if you rode a bike yourself.

You can want as much as you like, when your legs completely fill with lactic acid you can't go on pedalling

ventoso. wtf pettachi had that... he stopped peddling...

What the...?
The overhead slo-mo made it look even closer! He was gaining even as he slowed!

Anyone translate his remarks?

It's not that easy lol

Your car should keep running even if it's out of gas???

I'v had plenty of cramps on the bike, I understand your theory, but the overhead to me indicates he could have taken that. I think he could have won it.. Cramps do not make pedaling impossible.

Again you are obnoxious with your posts.
But hey, you know everything, and thus would no my personal life also. Go you

Cramps could be a reasonable explanation. Plus, when he jumped to the right that last snap might have really taken everything out of him and his legs just exploded.

Well sorry but anything else implies Petacchi is some sort of idiot... it's the only logical explanation aside from material problems

my first thought was material problems.
Don't get me wrong. I agree he probably had cramps, I just think with the adrenaline and line so close, maybe he could have done more...

Have you never ridden a bike race then? Bit like saying when 100m sprinters pull hamstrings etc. out of the gate they should keep going. FFS

Yeah but Contador used up Porte and Morkov. Pity some riders are'nt here but that should go on worst line up thread. I shall go Ventoso, Petacchi, Pineau, Le Mevel and suprise someone fro OPL, or another team, but specifically OPL. Just a thought.

very nice prono :p
