Contador is not a very good climber so he's obviously trying to take time here before the real mountains start...

Gatto did awesome though, thought AC was going to come over the top but he never got close.

Cav and Renshaw did well, but as expected they couldn't power the climb then come back for the sprint.

That's why I like Contador. He races to win. Always. Some of his moves might be ill-advised but he's certainly not boring.
