Versus TV channel couldn't broadcast their program 'Daily Line' so they ran footage from the Tour de France 2004, stage 17. Their was Lance following Floyd Landis' wheel in a small group with Jan Ulrich, who were leading by a minute over Richard Virenque. Strange, Ulrich was doping and finally admitted it, Virenque was exposed as a doper and couldn't deny it and Landis was caught and finally admitted it. It did make me wonder about Lance, how couldn't you after watching that footage?

Lemond said he was molested as a kid. I think he has mental issues due to that, so I won't say anything bad about him. He was a great champion in his day, but all this talk is ruining his legacy and his involvement in the sport.

Lemond's style throws me off. First you get the headline, then an article about something completely unrelated, then bam! It all comes together (rather awkwardly) in one final sentence. Just like with his first article, training, peaking, blah blah blah then UNEXPECTED TWILIGHT ZONE TWIST: Armstrong won't ride!

That said I wish he doesn't go away.

CyclingNews editors wrote the headline, I'm sure. Lemond complimenting the "new generation" of riders gets more clicks than "That thing I said about Lance wasn't exactly what I meant." I think we all would have liked Lemond to develop that last part of the column rather than tell us everything he knows about Ferrari. Who knows, maybe a CN editor wrote that last part. Maybe fodder for Lemond's next column?

Lots of people agree,myself included. This may be a very revealing point in our justice system. What in the world could a Gran Jury or anybody else expect to learn from Greg about doping or Lance? The guy is so far removed from the game it seems weird. If your opinions are requested no matter how whacky they have some validity. This time Lemond was requested to talk. They should also ask Greg about brakes..why use Campy 1.5 pound brakes? What kind of drugs were you on?

Lance was short on numbers and connections so he called Greg for instructions on a bike for dope program..They were really close friends. Greg told Trek to chose lance as a business partner he was tired and just wanted to go hunting with his son. What was that team that Lemond sponsored again? Lemond ..a PHd in bioeverything and a masters in bicycle company management ..they are probably going to get Maurizo Fondriest on the stand..maybe Moser knows something he had bikes also. Those 1.5 pound campy brakes won the tour in 87 88 90 91 92 (93?) ,,,4 different riders..
