Le Dope

Versus TV channel couldn't broadcast their program 'Daily Line' so they ran footage from the Tour de France 2004, stage 17. Their was Lance following Floyd Landis' wheel in a small group with Jan Ulrich, who were leading by a minute over Richard Virenque. Strange, Ulrich was doping and finally admitted it, Virenque was exposed as a doper and couldn't deny it and Landis was caught and finally admitted it. It did make me wonder about Lance, how couldn't you after watching that footage?

Lemond said he was molested as a kid. I think he has mental issues due to that, so I won't say anything bad about him. He was a great champion in his day, but all this talk is ruining his legacy and his involvement in the sport.

lol

But, unlike Fignon, he had to dress himself and his bike like a dorky spaceman to do it. And then we've been forced to look at this poster at every bike shop for the last 20 years. God, I wish Fignon had won.

LeMond and Lloyd

That hack LeMond came to Bend to support Floyd in The Cascade Classic. Floyd finished in the middle of the pack today. What a joke. They should both go home

Could be the reason Greggie has the Hard-On for a certain Mr. Lance Armstrong.

Because I watched the Livestrong Commercial on Versus. The backround music was Brian Enos music for airports. Authentic eurp music. Love it love Lance. Cool stuff Lance. For a certain Mr. Greg LeMond, as my mentor Andy Warhol has said, Greg you have had your 15 minutes of fame. Later!

here it is!
i really truly wish lemond goes away with his rambling posts about how everyone else but him has doped.

oh, except, of course, the "courageous, amazing, hard working, anonymous heroes" in the peloton...

Lemond's style throws me off. First you get the headline, then an article about something completely unrelated, then bam! It all comes together (rather awkwardly) in one final sentence. Just like with his first article, training, peaking, blah blah blah then UNEXPECTED TWILIGHT ZONE TWIST: Armstrong won't ride!

That said I wish he doesn't go away.

CyclingNews editors wrote the headline, I'm sure. Lemond complimenting the "new generation" of riders gets more clicks than "That thing I said about Lance wasn't exactly what I meant." I think we all would have liked Lemond to develop that last part of the column rather than tell us everything he knows about Ferrari. Who knows, maybe a CN editor wrote that last part. Maybe fodder for Lemond's next column?

I think that your post is incomplete cuz If you don't know what is POS, you won't know what BPC means... :)

Greg....

Go away you sad, ignorant, pathetic, lonely, jealous little man, who spin lies, ignore, SPECULATE and contradict to keep getting attention until you realize you can't get out any more of your BS. You are one sad individual.

You are Pathetic.

I think Pubic Strategies is gonna be writing a lot of $1.85 checks for the next few months.

You're probably right. Still, the result is quite odd. I hope they get it right for the next article.

Loved Greg 85 - 91 , but let the Lance anger go! shut up and go home.

Lots of people agree, myself included. This may be a very revealing point in our justice system. What in the world could a Gran Jury or anybody else expect to learn from Greg about doping or Lance? The guy is so far removed from the game it seems weird. If your opinions are requested no matter how whacky they have some validity. This time Lemond was requested to talk. They should also ask Greg about brakes..why use Campy 1.5 pound brakes? What kind of drugs were you on?

you really have no idea do you? The subpoena served to Greg LeMond was for documents related to his breach of contract case against one of Armstrong's main sponsors, the Trek Bicycle Corporation.

Sorry man you are right Greg always rode Treks and Lance always rode Lemonds. Even though Greg retired when Lance started he was always welcome in the team bus when they were shooting up. Lance was short on numbers and connections so he called Greg for instructions on a bike for dope program..They were really close friends. Greg told Trek to chose lance as a business partner he was tired and just wanted to go hunting with his son. What was that team that Lemond sponsored again? Lemond ..a PHd in bioeverything and a masters in bicycle company management ..they are probably going to get Maurizo Fondriest on the stand..maybe Moser knows something he had bikes also. Maybe Armstrong bought land in Whitewater
