Meanwhile, Skujins thinks Abi Mickey is asking some difficult questions:
It is a pretty hard question. I wouldn't know who she was talking about. Had it been about who the most or the least French guy on the team was, we would at least be able to exclude a few of them.
Least French guy? I'd say Scotson. Don't think he's very French...
Or are we ranking the Frenchness of the French riders on the team?
We are talking about the Frenchness of everyone on the team. I'd put Madiot at the top.
Can I group them together by nationality? Though, I guess some of the Swiss guys might be more French than the others...
Right, here we go! This is the Frenchness Ranking of the Groupama FDJ team:
French guys in some random unsorted order.
Swiss guys, with Reichenbach being the most French.
Duchesne. Yes, I'm ranking him above some of the Europeans, because he's from Quebec!
Guarnieri.
Geniets.
Dutch guys.
Stewart.
Ludvigsson.
Valter.
Konovalovas.
Scotson.
Please don't take my word for it.
This is a poor ranking.

So you're not including the conti guys?
French guys with the French guys.
Balmer with the other Swiss guys.
Germani joins Guarnieri.
Van Den Berg joins his brother and Sinkeldam.
Askey and Pidcock joins Stewart.
Ärm
Pithie and Thompson.
I think, you should do the required research and then get back to us. Seems like a possible discussion to have during one of the flat Tour stages.
Why don't you do the research? You were the one who started the whole Frenchness Ranking Thing.
This is a poor ranking.
That sounds crazily mathemetical. But an obvious flaw is that Küng and Lienhard are more French than Duchesne following your ranking, and that can't be right.

I didn't wanna split up the Swiss Gang! Though, I did point out Reichenbach's slightly more Frenchiness than the others'.
Pinot has a very French name, and he's injury prone which keeps him from reaching his full potential/winning as much as he otherwise could have. That also seems pretty French to me, at least in a cycling sense.
