Actually they planned that decently this time. They did not go for the first sprint but got someone in the breakaway it seems. And Lampaert is their 2nd fastest guy behind Gaviria

Only 5 riders per team. The chasers will have to burn someone, too.

Being a top sprinter isn't really that great advantage ...what is needed (as yesterday) is a competitive all rounder ..or 5 competitive all rounders

Now we are beginning to see team fighting each other rather than going for top points

They do, but only on the app it seems and not the televised pictures. Don't know the reasoning behind that either.

I dont think much happened, he was already at the back when the crash occured and was not hindered there, maybe just no legs after the giro

I think it sounded like he hurt himself a bit in the conversation with Steels.

Anyway, it's good racing. Hope to see a better field in the future. If it doesn't appear too often in the calendar I might grow to like this event.

And yeah, Velon's performance needs to improve by 1000%. Live Scoring and split times please, if it's possible in wintersports, surely it can be done here. The app won't work at all for me today, it just crashes.

Such total standings have relevance only if team positions are drawn.

1 stage pt for 1st, 2 stage pts for 2nd etc. Accumulated line points only relevant if 2 or more teams have same stage pts.
