Andy Schleck can certainly weigh 62 kg, he looks like he does when I see my brothers. Weight is not important, muscle and fat composition is more relevant and limb lengths and ratios. I'm 5'7", or 170cm. In 2005 and 2006 I weighed 63 kg, and last year in January I was 65kg. I was thinner, leaner and stronger at 65kg. My aerobic capacity was also much higher.

Height:
1.82 or 1.83 (my pasport says 1.85 but that's with shoes on)
Weight:
68-69 kg
Unfortunately at the moment, I'm carrying a little bit of extra weight.
It's very embarrassing, but I wont lie about it. 79.2 kg this morning (after breakfast)
It will be 72 kg when we get to may (tried it before so I know what to do)

If I was to look at another road frame it would be a Pegoretti Big Leg Emma or a custom by Zinn Cycles who specialize in tall/short riders even crankarms 130mm-220mm. also big boy wheels
Market it first and you will be a millionare!Mach Schnell said:All I know is that I could take Hushovd in an arm wrestle
29ers were the best thing thats ever come along for tall guys on MTBS. I'm 6'7" and until 29ers, it looked like I was on a clown bike. Its not so bad now with 26" MTBS, as the longer travel forks make up a certain amount on the short head tubes, but 29er is definately the way to go if you are say 6-2+. Road bikes need that shot in the arm, a larger dia. wheel. My frame looks dumb with a 700C wheel, never mind the physics of it.
Who was the Rabo rider LA was riding with through the cobbles the other day? That dude was TALL, and his bike looked dumb with the jacked seat post and l-o-w bars. Yes, proportions change as you get taller; longer back, longer arms etc, but only to a point. Even Ryder's frame set up looks "wrong" or at least compromised.
Maybe a new standard of a 32" dia. wheel for large road bikes?
I can only dream...
