yes, he trained harder than everyone else, his record proves it, yes, he doped better than anyone else. destroying people that get in the way of your goals is not cool, but it isn't throwing under the bus either, two different things you are talking about.
I hate Lance, he is not a good person, he is not good for cycling, he is a coward, just like Landis, Hamilton, Levi, and the rest.
but he won 7 TdF's, and not in the non-attacking/wait for the TT way either.
I believe you.
Lance trained 26 hours a day, 8 days a week because he always gave it 110%.
That is what allowed him to dope better than anyone else.
BTW - on that attacking style thing, you might have him confused with someone else. How many green and polka dot jerseys did Lance win? What about the most aggressive rider? What about the white jersey?
He never gave gifts, right Ivan? And, once he took the yellow, he always held onto it, right? At least, other than in 2000, 2002, 2004 or 2005, right? And, he would never refuse to wear the yellow, would he?
Lance was such a great attacker, he would never sit behind a looong train of teammates, and allow himself to be protected on climbs, would he?
Nor would he slow down and wait for anyone if they happened to ride off the road, right?
Admittedly, it is hard to confirm any of these things since the records all indicate "Vacated" now.
Dave.
