Don't follow women's racing, but they races are generally shorter, so I guess they suck it up.

Paula Radcliffe pulled a similar stunt at the New York Marathon running race to the current male Tour riders,IE going by the side of the road in full view. Dont know about the lady cyclists though.

Cross their legs and hold on probably..
