Is not guilt by association a fallacious argument? This whole thread is full of it.

Maybe I should start a new thread: "What's Wiggins' real weight loss secret."
Gee, he looks really thin, but we we would rather throw a stone at Horner.

Of course this is said just to prove a point. To compare Wiggins and Horner, they both have dropped weight to improve their climbing. So do you then start a rumor mill about WiggAins? That would be unfounded.

I am dubious that PED problems still are not a problem through out all of sport. The Shack, Horner included are under close watch. If the former Postal team once had any special favour, that's long gone. The USADA has been very active of late.

Horner was in the 0 group in that leaked UCI doc.

Nothing but muck here. :D

its Wigans btw, but I fixed it for you. Check the exclusive Wigans' threads.

Chris is a nice guy doing well in Europe. I believe that to to get results in Europe you have to dope. I wish it wasn't true but I think it is. Chris is still a nice guy and so are most of the other pros. Does that mean they all dope? No, but most do.

Yeah, it's a European thing, perverting poor Americans who come over from the blissful purity of the US scene...

Even public figures have certain rights, and you should not assume that the rules are the same in every jurisdiction. Certainly your points are potentially valid and this thread ought generate a reasonable discussion, but I can see how the mods would be sensitive to the accusatory nature of putting words into someone's mouth-- you should at least include an "in my opinion, based on x, y, z...

Wrong. Ever heard of a parody? Saturday Night Live? Weird Al Yankovic?

You can portray public figures, imitate and make up words, coversations etc...all in the name of parody and humor.

Th US Supreme Court ruled on this a long time ago.

FFS! Digging up post #2?

AGAIN: CN isn't bound by U.S. law. You'll have to figure out the "why" of that on your own.

For the curious:
The conversation at the beginning of this thread regarding libel, lawsuits, etc., stems from a previous Chris Horner thread that has since been deleted.

We've moved on...

If he is too dumb to figure out what to order after doing so many many times, maybe he could ship a pallet of Hungry Man dinners to his place in Girona. Or he could learn how to cook a few meals.

hahaha I JUST saw this...can't stop laughing..:D
love it

sorry...was just reading through to catch up and then came across "Shack gut"...
REally this whole thread is not too deep ..leave the poor guy alone.
Chris H has always been more talented than the rest of his US peers, so don't know if you can pick on someone's gut. :p

btw, besides diet he may sleep poorly in hotels etc so another thing to weaken his immune system; not sleeping well and poor diet on the road would seem to have some validity in prep for a huge event w/r to being at your physical peak.

Actually we did that last year. Wiggins is old news.

Well excuse me! But in the light of this weak-minded thread I would have revisted it anyway.

I think Horner's being smart here in another way.

By skipping the Suisse, he avoids having to work for Leipheimer. Or, if your will, he's banking the Cali win and last year's TdF 10th and other top placings. No more water carrier this June. Lots of altitude training choices too. Diet has always been a legit concern. So what's the big deal.

Or he's avoiding McDonalds because there's is no gaurantee the beef's not tainted with Clen. :D

Hot Horner diet tip from a comment on Velonews:

On our way to Denny's for brunch Chris Horner rode past helmetless, smiling as usual, in full Radio Shack kit. Is he rehabbing another injury? What's he doing home in San Diego three weeks before the Tour?

I wonder whether he ordered the grand slam breakfast or one of the $2, $4, $6, or $8 specials.

Like I said, this is a weak-minded thread. What part of "rode past" do you not understand? This thread is straining like...well no, I let someone else finish that one. :D

Stop taking life so seriously, Billy, and it is a lot more fun.
