Maybe there is another reason that the thread name is inappropriate.

The weather forecasts currently predict that the Tour Down Under will take place in rainy, sub-20 degrees conditions. That sounds absolutely surreal given the recent history of the race and the current fiery situation down under.

People still claim that this crit is not scripted :p
Ewan acting like he is the worst rider in the race and barely holding on at the back for 2/3 of the race, only to win the sprint by far. But sure, this Schwalbe thing is the only non-predetermined crit.

Having threatened to get tailed off early on, Caleb Ewan wins very convincingly. Sprint trains diminished by fall of Kanter and Sarreau (both apparently unhurt), causing a split. Viviani second, his leadout Consonni third. Bennett in the group, but left the sprint to Morkov (6th)
